Metallica unleashed a surprise cover of Oasis‘ singalong hit ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ in Manchester on Saturday night — a song which has become an unofficial anthem for the city since the terror attack at Ariana Grande’s Manchester Arena concert earlier this year. Halfway through their recent set at the same venue, Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Rob Trujillo took centre stage for a few solos, which included a singalong of ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’.
