Volbeat will release their seventh studio album ‘Rewind, Replay, Rebound’ on Friday 2nd August and follow it with a September/October 2019 UK tour.
Boasting 14 new tracks, the follow-up to June 2016’s ‘Seal the Deal & Let’s Boogie’ was produced by Jacob Hansen and co-produced by Volbeat’s very own Rob Caggiano and Michael Poulsen.
Following the unveiling of the 39-second track ‘Parasite’ last week, the Danish rockers have premiered a video for their punky, rockabilly track ‘Leviathan’, which you can watch right here:
‘Rewind, Replay, Rebound’ features two guest appearances – Clutch vocalist Neil Fallon on ‘Die To Live’ and Slayer/Exodus guitarist Gary Holt on ‘Cheapside Sloggers’.
The deluxe edition is augmented by bonus tracks ‘Under The Influence’ and ‘Immortal But Destructible’ plus five demos.
Pre-order packages include a 2-LP vinyl, a 2 CD deluxe edition, a special deluxe edition box set, and transparent and blue colored vinyl limited to 1,000 copies each. The special deluxe edition box set includes a switchblade comb and Volbeat sixpence hat, in a metal box.
Vocalist Michael Poulsen said: "The whole point for us going into the studio, is because you still have something to prove – not just for the fans, but mostly for yourself.
“We would not be able to do this record if it wasn’t for the work we have done in the past. No matter how old the band gets or how many records we do, there is always going to be that signature sound."
