Last month, Bring Me the Horizon vocalist Oli Sykes revealed he’d been diagnosed with a ruptured vocal cord, forcing the cancelation of the remainder of the band’s in-progress North American tour (which only had two dates left at the time, thankfully). It was one of those “Stop singing now or risk permanent damage to your voice, doctor’s orders” type of situations.
This weekend Oli revealed that his vocal cord is all healed up and he’s been given the go-ahead to sing again. The vocalist posted the following on Twitter:
“Just been to the voice doctors my voice is fully healed woop woop see u all soon !”
Good news for BMTH fans! Oli needs that voice in tip-top shape more than ever now that he’s singing pop instead of metal 😉 His older fans don’t seem too stoked, but we at MetalSucks are into it, for whatever that’s worth!
