Shortly after this, rumours began circulating that the guys were planning a return to their prog stylings for a forthcoming album. After ‘The Colour Before the Sun’ there was some backlash that the departure from the firmly established Amory Wars saga of their previous albums was not in keeping with the Coheed sound. However, this new offering firmly re-establishes the prog genre, as our Phil delightfully found out just before he departed on yet another trip around the rock ‘n’ roll Überverse:
