Manilla Road’s Mark “The Shark” Shelton Has Passed Away

Decibel is reporting that Manilla Road guitarist and founding member Mark “The Shark” Shelton died today at the age of 60 years old. No other details about his death are currently available.

Shelton started Manilla Road in 1977, fusing traditional heavy metal, hard rock and doom. The band released 17 full-length albums, the most recent being To Kill a King in 2017, and two live efforts.
