In a move surely designed to piss off the Polish religious authorities with whom Nergal so frequently tussles, Behemoth have released an image of the guitarist/vocalist as a Jesus Christ on the cross while other members of Behemoth that people don’t care about as much stand nearby. Accompanying the image is the caption “GOD=DOG | Soon,” which fans are interpreting to mean that either Behemoth are going to announce their new album soon, or have inside information about the Lord re-enacting the plot of The Shaggy Dog. Since we know their new album is done, they’ve debuted the new song “Wolves Ov Siberia” live, and they’ve announced a tour with At the Gates and Wolves in the Throne Room for the fall, the former seems the more likely of the two options.
