Coheed and Cambria Debut New Song and Video, “Unheavenly Creatures”

Every Friday’s deluge of new singles, which I’m told are timed to correspond with search engine updates or something like that, begins! Coheed and Cambria have released the de facto title track from their new album, The Unheavenly Creatures, via an extremely Star Wars-esque music video (tell me that’s not a Death Star), which is a sequel to another video for a different song on the album, “The Dark Sentencer.” They even debuted it with Marvel. It’s all so nerdy it will make your shirt grow a pocket protector. The song is also pretty goddamn catchy, and I say that as someone who is usually kind meh on C&C.

Watch the video below, and head over to Marvel to read an interview Coheed frontman/guy whose hair has its own gravitational pull Claudio Sanchez.

The Unheavenly Creatures comes out October 5, and can be pre-ordered here.
