I have been a fan since 2013. I own every single studio album. I’ve been in 4 conserts and I will go to one in the end of the summer. Two of those conserts were/will be abroad. I can play most songs on a piano. I even know all the guitar solos by heart. You won’t guess what’s my favourite album…
Tan tan taaaaaaaaa!
Yeah, I know it's got Edge of darkness and 2 A.M. in there and the whole album sounds like 5 people slapping random instruments with dryed fish inside a cardboard box. But I love it.
It was the first studio album by Maiden that I bought. And it was so wierd noticing that Bruce isn't actually singing on this one. I forgot the album immediately after listening it.
But two years later I read a review of the album saying that it's actually not that bad and you should listen to it multiple times. And I did.
I fell in love with the album, even though it's probably their third worst. Man on the edge was always my favourite song, even though they have many better songs. It's a fun little piece of music. The album also has one of the top ten best Iron Maiden songs. You know which one. Sign of the cross of course.
Lord of the flies is fun, fortunes of war is catchy and so is look for the truth. Blood on the worlds' hands is actually pretty good. Jugdement of heaven is OK, The unbeliever is wierd in a good way and 2 A.M… wait what? What song is that? And Egde of darkness… What? Iron Maiden has a song called Egde of darkness? No, I would know that song if it existed.
No matter what you say, I will still love this album. And now… Let the downvotes rain on me!
