Dance Of Death! Personal story

You know how sometimes in life, fate just looks out for you in places you'd least expect it ? Dance Of Death was literally this.

In may 2007 my grandad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, he died within months and was gone by the first week of June, a few days after his funeral i was out with one of his friends and decided to have a look in a 2nd hand music store (Dixon's Recycled), Something told me to get this Iron Maiden album.

Dance Of Death helped me grieve in ways i never knew would of been possible, At the time there were so many tracks related to death, passing and memories etc. It provided a huge huge comfort for me when i needed it the most.

To this day Dance Of Death is one of my favourite albums and when i listen to it, i get the same warmth and comfort that i would from a massive hug.

Was definitely a life changing album for me.
