We’ve just published the official audio of "I Saw Her Standing There"! After years playing VAIN’s "Secrets" live, we’ve decided to challenge ourselves and record our very own sleazy approach to this 60s classic written by The Beatles, which turned out to be the 1st cover-version AFFÄIRE ever recorded.
"I Saw Her Standing There" is part of AFFÄIRE last CD, the "Neon Gods", released last Summer. A few short clips from some of the exciting reviews that “Neon Gods” has gathered:Sleaze Roxx (Canada):"With the newly released Neon Gods, Affäire look both back and forward, presenting solid ’80s style sleaze for a new generation. (…) Affäire don’t try to be today’s Crüe, Ratt, or Skid Row. Instead, they recognize the best of each band, and attempt to expand on those points."We Rock (UK) 10/10 "it’s hard it’s rocking it’s sleazy it’s foot tappingly fantastic"Metal Temple 8/10 "We have to consider that "Neon Gods" may show a promising future for the band’s next full-length album. The variation of the songs, besides a great production makes the band AFFÄIRE stand out the majority and take them to the spotlight."Heavy Paradise (Greece) 8/10 "Affaire is a band that has the attitude, the right ‘image’, a couple of killer tunes and the late 80’s vibe. I’m waiting bigger things from them in the near future!!! Well done!!!""Neon Gods" is the follow-up of the band’s debut full-length "At First Sight", released in the Autumn of 2015, by US label Demon Doll Records. We are currently writing new music for what will be AFFÄIRE new full-length, planned to be recorded next Summer.
