Dream Troll – ‘The Witch’s Curse’ (Self-Released)

Dream Troll artworkLeeds-based five-piece Dream Troll were the subject of a bizarre news story last April. When their childhood friend Richard Burgon (who happens to be a Labour MP) made a guest appearance on one of their songs, they were pounced upon by the tabloid press who mistakenly believed them to be a white power band. The allegation was quickly dismissed as nonsense by anyone with a modicum of sense and listening to this EP, you have to wonder exactly what anyone could find threatening about them, as Tim Bolitho-Jones explains on the other side of this link:
